MINNESOTA CITY, Minn. – A boater lost his motor when he hit a wing dam on the Mississippi River near Bass Camp. The sheriff’s office was called and dispatched its dive boat. In the meantime, the damaged boat already had been towed to a landing at Merrick State Park on the Wisconsin side, where the boater had parked a truck and trailer.
