KENYON, Minn. – Firefighters found a body in a burned-out vehicle in a driveway near the Kenyon Country Club a mile north of town. An autopsy was ordered to identify the body. The house at the address was also destroyed, but no one was home. A sheriff’s dispatcher in Red Wing had received a call at 6:14 p.m. about a fire at the country club. Firefighters instead found the blaze nearby at the home of Jerry and Barb Peterson in the 45000 block of Highway 56 Boulevard. The Petersons, reached in Arizona, said none of their family was at the house. The burned vehicle was not theirs, they said.
