MAPLEWOOD, Minn. – A fitness gym member pulled a gun on a front desk employee who had told him that the gym didn’t have enough staff to enforce the state masking order. The man had complained that members were exercising without masks, then waved the gun. Assistant managerMike Olson said he thought the man was going to shoot members without masks. ,Olson tackled the man, took the gun and removed the ammunition. Michael Florhaug, 64, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. The incident was at LA Fitness.
