CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Bond was set at $1.5 million for a Cedar Rapids man accused of a mass shooting that killed two people at a downtown nightclub. Timothy Rush, 32, was arrested the day after the shooting and charged with second-degree murder and other counts. In court documents in which he applied for a court-appointed attorney, Rush said listed the nightclub as a former employer. In other documents unearthed by the Cedar Rapids Gazette, Rush is listed as the father of a daughter born in 2021 to Nicole Owens, one of the shooting victims.
