MINNEAPOLIS — A school bus driver was shot at the wheel while nearing the end of an after-school run with three youngsters still aboard. The students, all under 10, weren’t hurt. The driver’s injuries were not life-threatenimg, according to initial reports. The bullet appeared to have entered and exited the neck. The bus came to a sudden stop when the driver was hit. This was about 2:15 p.m. in north Minneapolis on North 37th Avenue near North Girard Avenue. Police were unsure whether the driver was targeted or whether it was a stray bullet.
