WINONA, Minn. —The Winona High School Orchestra is back from a musical and cultural experience in New York City. The trip, March 21-26, included a performance of the musical “Hamilton,” a performance by the American Symphony at Carnegie Hall, and an afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The students also took in the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the 9-11 Memorial. The trip is paced every third year so all orchestra members go their sophomore, junior or senior year.
