WINONA Minn. – Police arrested a Winona man after vandalism on two vehicles on the West End. Jesse James Robertson, 35, had slashed four tires on one vehicle and smashed windows on both it and a second vehicle, police were rold. This was about 12:30 a.m. on the 1150 block of West Sixth Street. The cars’ owner told police that she had heard a commotion outside and confronted Robertson. He ran off, she said. Police went to Robertson’s address a few blocks away, in the 300 block of South Baker Street. He answered in his BVDs and appeared drunk, police said. He denied causing damage. Police booked him anyway for damaging property and violating a restraining order.
