EYOTA, Minn. – The state fire marshal has been unable to affix blame for a fire that destroyed a barn and damaged four nearby structure near Eyota last week. One theory is that an angle grinder had thrown off sparks earlier when somebody was working. The theory is that a spark started something smoldering perhaps for hours. No one was home when the fire erupted.
