WINONA, Minn. – The Winona County emergency management director, Ben Klinger, is building a list of child-care providers so he can alert them as soon as sufficient quantities of Co-Vid vaccine arrive. Klinger said he wants to be prepared to set up a vaccination site quickly. “Right now the way things work we don’t get notified far ahead of time when we will have vaccine,” he said in a radio KWNO interview. “We just want to make sure we can get the people there quickly when the time comes.” He noted that child-care providers as a group aren’t on existing contact lists.
