WINONA, Minn. – The Winona City Council voted unanimously to study the eligbility of the Lake Park Bandshell for recognition on the National Register of Historic Places. The study will be financed mostly by a 6,000 grant from the Minnesota Historical Society. The city will pitch in $1,500. Depending on the study, the next step would be to seek a grant to for the nomination process.
