The next storm. What will it bring to this house near Caledonia, between Milwaukee and Racine, at 7009 Novak Road?

Vetter. Could she sell Fridges to Eskimos?

Living dangerously but, oh, what view

CALEDONIA, Wisconsin —Somehow a house hanging precariously atop a cliff being washed out from underneath by Lake Michigan waves has been sold. No, the buyer didn’t get the $450,000 asking price. But real-estate agent Jo Ann Vetter said the  fully furnished three-bedroom, three-bathroom house went for $250,000. Perhaps the attraction was the 11-acre lot, but even that’s mostly rubble. The buyer has declined to discuss what’s planned for the property. More erosion seems inevitable with new ferocity in storms caused by climate change and that generate huge waves.
