PINE ISLAND, Minn. – The drivers were injured when two vehicles collided at Highway 57 and County 11 Boulevard seven miles west of Pine Island. Neither suffered life-threatening injuries, deputies said. Taken to a Rochester hospital to be checked out were Savannah Mae Smith, 25, of Kenyon, in a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, and Stefanie Anne Jones, 35, of Madison, Wisconsin, in 2006 Toyota Corolla. Deputies said hat Smith was westbound on County 11 and Jones southbound on Hghway 15. The collision was about 4:40 p.m. The pavement was dry, deputies said.
