WINONA, Minn. – Humorist Kevin Kling will kick off a revival of the art of story-telling in Winona – the Sandbar Storytelling Festival. Kling’s show: June 25, at the Saint Cecilia Theatre at Cotter High School. Tickets: $20 to $50. Kling also has a story-telling workshop scheduled. Kling is known for heartwarming stories on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered.” For the main event he will be joined by actress, vocalist and accordionist Simone Perrin, a Winona native. The show is a fund-raiser for monthly Saturday morning story-telling sessions starting in October at the Winona Arts Center.
