ROCHESTER, Minn. – Police issued an alert for a man identified by an 11-year-old as attempting to kidnap her. The girl said the man pulled his vehicle into her path as she was bicycling and attempted to talk her into his vehicle. She refused and the man got out of his vehicle and made contact with her, she said. She managed to pedal away to safety. This was about 8 p.m. in the Country Club Manor neighborhood of northwest Rochester. To police the girl offered this description: The man was driving a small black SUV with a blue sticker that ad lettering in the rear window. He was thin, black, about 5-foot-7, with a beard and short hair. She said he was wearing a blue shirt and black sweat pants.
