WINONA Minn. – A lockbox on the exterior of a building and 60 feet of copper wire inside the building were reported stolen in the 350 commercial block of West Third Street. With copper near $5 a pound, there is a lucrative albeit illegal underground market for thieves. Police we told the break-in occurred sometime in the previous seven days.
