ST. PAUL, Minn. – A mother accused of overdosing her 3-year-old son with the potent pain-killer fentanyl was charged with manslaughter. The boy was found dead December 7 in a West St. Paul apartment after the mother, Queenetta McDaniel, 34, called 911. Her bail was set Friday at $250,000 in Ramsey County Court. The criminal complaint listed McDaniel as a heavy, habitual user of illicit drugs. She had been smoking fentanyl, the complaint said.
