WINONA, Minn. – A fundraising veteran, Mike Swanson, has been named vice president of advancement at Cotter Schools. Swanson’s duties also include student recruiting. Cotter has 345 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Most recently Swanson was chief fundraiser at Western Technical College in LaCrosse, a position he held 10 years. Earlier he was in alumni relations and development. at Winona State University, The Cotter position formerly was divided between Linda Schrupp and Judy Richter. Swanson has four children at Cotter in first, fourth, seventh and ninth grades
