WINONA, Minn. – Starting October 17 the Winona County free Covid site will have extended hours: Sundays from 11 to 4. The site, in the Winona Mall, also will continue hours 11 to 6 Mondays through Thursdays although none on Fridays and Saturdays. Governor Tim Walz, who ordered the expanded hours statewide, said he hoped to increase each site’s testing capacity by 500 tests a day.
