WINONA, Minn. – The company that operates Mississippi River cruises is considering docking in Winona 22 times this coming season, according to Chad Uhl, the city’s community services director. Uhl said discussions on dates and docking fees are under way with American Cruise Lines of Guilford, Connecticut. The first visit, probably the 185-passenger paddle-wheeler America or the new 190-passenger American Melody, would arrive in June. More Winona visits are possible in future years, Uhl said.  The ships would dock at Levee Park downtown.

America. Launched in 2016.
