WINONA, Minn. – Police launched a search for the driver of a black pickup truck who reportedly struck a bicyclist on the West End and then got out and beat the bicyclist. The cyclist declined medical attention, but police said he had a red mark on his head. The incident was on Fifth Street near Ben Street. The bicyclist told officers that he knew the driver and that there had been a recent argument. According to the cyclist, the truck was eastbound on Fifth, that the impact threw him off his bike, and that the driver sped off after the attack.
