BROCKWAY, Wis. – A man died at a Marshfield hospital after being airlifted from this Black River Falls suburb following a police call to a house. A second person, a woman, was taken to an Eau Claire hospital. Sheriff Duane Waldera declined to release the persons’ names immediately. What happened was hazy. Someone called police at 10:23 p.m. that a man needed emergency medical treatment at 210 Park Avenue. While some deputies began life-saving measures, others discovered a woman also needed care.
