ST. PAUL, Minn. – The state Democratic chairman Ken Martin, said that taxpayers have no reason to trust Congressman Jim Hagedorn after he “spent months lying to Minnesotans and trying to cover up corruption within his own office.” Hagedorn’s own internal review found much of that money was spent with two firms connected to the staffers at “significantly” higher rates than other companies charge, Martin said.  Abernathy West received $350,000. Invocq Technologies received $110,000.
