WARSAW, Minn. – The driver was killed when he crashed into the townhall of this hamlet, setting the building afire and destroying it. Rice COunty deputies couldn’t identify the body. Deputies attempted to clear the vehicle but were unable to because of the intense heat and fire. After the fire was controlled, emergency responders located human remains in the driver’s compartment. The body was sent the Hennepin County medical examiner for identification and an autopsy.
