CANNON FALLS, Minn. – A Rochester teenager, Haya Ambreen Mahmood, was killed in a single-car rollover on U.S. Highway 52 four miles south of Cannon Falls. The State Patrol said that Mahmood, 16, was driving a northbound 2013 Kia Soul and went into the median and rolled across the southbound lanes. The accident was about 2:45 a.m. A passenger Daniel Desmond Yeung. 22, of Rochester, was taken 50 miles to a Rochester hospital with life-threatening injuries, the Patrol said. Neither was wearing seatbelts, the Patrol said. Road conditions were clear and dry.
