CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. – Rescuers pulled a driver trapped jn a a car hanging 25 feet down the Duncan Creek mini-gorge through town. The rescuers first stabilized the car, then extracted the driver and ulled him up the embankment with ropes and a harness. He was unhurt. The rescuers then winched the car up the bank. This was about 9 p.m. Why the car ran off the road wasn’t clear immediately.
