ROCHESTER, Minn. – A Mower County man, Joshua Jacobson, 40, of the village of Dexter, was sentenced to 51 months in prison for a traffic accident that seriously injured a 13-year-old girl. It was a belated sentencing. Jacobson had skipped a December 31 sentencing date. He was caught May 20 in St. Paul and returned to Rochester. Jacobson was arrested originally in November 2019 after speeding drunk through an intersection and striking another vehicle. The teen-age passenger in the other vehicle had to be resuscitated.
