WINONA, Minn. – A multi-medium test of the national emergency alert system will sound Wednesday afternoon, said Ben Klinger, the county’s emergency management coordinator. He said the test will be two parts:

> AM, FM, and satellite radio, and broadcast, cable and satellite television, at 1;20.

> Cell phones, between 1:20 and 1:50.

The test message will be like the regular monthly test message, Klinger said.
