MADISON, Wis. — Governor Tony Evers signed an agreement for the Oneida Nation to conduct sports wagering at the tribe’s Green Bay casino. For the first time in Wisconsin, wagering would allowed on nationally televised award shows and professional sports drafts and games. The agreement is a treaty amendment will need approval from the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs. The Oneidas hope for approval by the football season.
