ENTERPRISE , Minn. – State investigators have reached out to 100 farmers in the Rush Creek watershed about oestiticides that may have contributed to a major fish kill. The agencies are asking for details about the type, rate, timing and location of manure and pesticide applications. Killed were 2,500 fish. The suspect source is within 10 square mile of Rush Creek drainage The probe goes all the way from the Lewiston and Fremont headwaters of the 18-mile stream. Three state agencies are conducting the probe the probe: The state Natural Resources Department,  Pollution Control Agency, and Agriculture Department.
