WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has approved $19.5 million to 75 rural Minnesota hospitals for Covid testing and mitigation, Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith, D-Minn., made the announcement. The funding will be used for coronavirus tests and education, contact tracing, and personal protective equipment. Hospitals have been invited to apply for the grants.
