WINONA, Minn. —The first shipment of the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine arrived at the Winona Health clinic. Inoculations begin Friday morning. For the past week pharmacists have been instructing staff about protocols and procedures and answering questions. They say the initial shipment was 975 doses, 200 of which will be sent to Wabasha. The remaining Winona doses are not enough for every Winona Health priority health-care worker and long-term care resident, but future shipments will mean every worker can be inoculated. Those who receive the first dose of the vaccine will get their second dose in three weeks.
