WINONA Minn. – As snow accumulated on highways and byways in the afternoon, sheriff’s officers responded to 11 accidents and city police to six. Such is par for the first storm of the season that leaves snow on the ground. One crash, on Highway 61 near Lamoille, left a driver injured. There was a head-on collision on County Road 25 but no injuries.
