BOSTON – General Electric recalled 132,000 kitchen ranges that can tip over if too much weight is set on the oven door when it’s open. The danger is burns from hot food or liquids in cookware. A tip-over bracket can be installed to the wall or floor, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said. The ranges entered store inventories May through July.

Wide range of ranges. The products ranged from barebones models that retailed at $580 to bells-and-whistle models at $4,600.
