MINNEAPOLIS –The Fair State Brewery taproom has gone where few merchants have. Demonstrating a sense of social responsibility, customers are required to show documents either of being Covid-vaccinated or having tested negative within the previous three days. No document? “Come back another time. And bring your papers.” Well, there is an alternative: The beer garden outside. The taproom calls the policy “the best option to keep everyone safe and feel comfortable gathering together.” How does it work? Starting Friday, you need to:

> Present a completed vaccination card to the bartender. A digital version is fine, like Docket or Clear.

> Or a document affirming negative test in the past 72 hours from the Minnesota Department of Health (Vault) or an email from a testing provider. Rapid at-home tests will not be accepted, nor will screenshots or printouts
