GARRISON, Minn. — Walleye limits on Lake Mille Lacs have been set for winter. The state Natural Resources Department said only one fish between 21 to 23 inches will be allowed — or one longer than 28 inches. The agency expressed concern that a higher abundance of food in the lake had boosted catch rates in recent years and depleted the walleye population.
