GOODVIEW, Minn. – The City of Goodview warned residents in the Lake Village trailer park to boil water before drinking it or cooking with it. The sprawling 228-unit neighborhood overlooks Lake Goodview. The proximity to the suburban Winona lake has been problematic in the past. In the catastrophic 2007 flood, Stockton Creek 2-1/2 miles away in Minnesota City backed and forced polluted water into the lake.
