ST. PAUL, Minn. – The governor and lieutenant governor entered a 10-day quarantine. They were within six feet of a staff member for more than 15 minutes at a news conference Monday, after which the staffer tested positive for the Co-Vid virus. Besides Governor Tim Walz, Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, state health Commissioner Jan Malcom was similarly exposed and went into quarantine. The six-foot, 15-minute standard for quarantining comes from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
