DRESSER, Wis. – A person was found dead after a trailer house explosion on the southern outskirts of this St. Croix Valley village. The body was discovered as firefighters sorted through the burned-out carcass of the trailer at Valley View trailer park. Polk County Sheriff Brent Waak did not release the victim’s name immediately. Firefighters were called about 3:10 p.m. The trailer already was engulfed. The fire was spreading to a neighboring trailer, which was also destroyed. A third trailer sustained exterior damage.
