MADISON, Wis. –  Governor Tony Evers notified people at budget-signing ceremony in a Milwaukee suburb that he had learned that a person at the meeting had since tested positive for Covid. The event was attended by three state legislators, the state schools superintendent, members of Evers’ Cabinet, several Whitefish Bay school children, school district personnel, and reporters. Evers, who is fully vaccinated, said he does not have any symptoms and will continue with scheduled events and meetings.
