GREEN BAY, Wis. — Mayor Eric Genrich urged President Trump to scale down a rally scheduled Saturday at the Green Bay airport. Genrich noted that Wisconsin is already a COVID hot spot. One Green Bay hospital is at 94% capacity to treat virus patients. Trump’s advance team in Green Bay is planning a rally for several thousand supporters packed together – no social distancing. If like other recent Trump rallies, there would be few face masks. Genich, a Democrat, said he had no problem with smaller campaign appearances, like town halls. But he said large rallies “incredibly unwise and dangerous.”
