ROCHESTER, Minn. – Little did Rochester UPS driver Jason Gruhlke know why the Planters Nutmobile was driving up. But there was Mr. Peanut with a $10,000 check, Gruhlke had won $10,000 in Planters Little Acts of Substance promotion. He had been spotted on video doing hopscotch on a chalked-up residential driveway on the way back to his truck. The game was just there in is oath, he said. He couldn’t resist. This all was in March but bad been largely unnoticed until the guy-in-brown-getup video went viral on Twitter. Planters, now headquartered in Austin, is awarding $5 million nationally with $10,000 checks for people who out a little smile on people’s faces.
