LAKE CITY, Minn. – Cars driven by David Scott Shafer, 58, of Clarkfield, and Trista Carol Hager 31, of Kaason, collided south of Lake City on Highway 63 at 712th Street. Hager was airlifted to a Rochester hospital with injuries that the State Patrol described as life-threatening. Hager was less seriously hurt The State Patrol said Shafer was northbound on Highway 63 in a 2003 Toyota Highlander, and Shafer southbound in a 2017 Ford F350 pickup. The accident happened about 4:20 p.m.
