MINNEAPOLIS — The Hennepin County attorney’s office announced it would not be in court in the Wednesday police shooting case in Minneapolis even though the deadly force incident occurred in its jurisdiction. The decision heads off possible questions of police favoritism. Who would prosecute investigate and prosecute? Likely neighboring Anoka, Dakota, Ramsey or Washington counties.
