WINONA, Minn. – Reconstruction of the back parking lot at Winona High School has been completed. Grounds chief Michael McArdle said that the only part of the lot that didn’t get a complete makeover is near rhe music wing. That. he said, is a newer area that needs only minor repairs. The project cost $783,000, which was covered by leftover funds from the $9.4 million referendum approved by voters in 2018. The referendum’s major projects were finished $1 million under budget. McArdle said the left-over funds also covered new sidewalk patches and an accessible ramp and new walking path to the baseball field.
