LACROSSE, Wis. – A hiker fell 40 feet off a near-vertical cliff at the Grandad Bluff Park observation outlook and was injured. A rescue team treated the man before lowering him down the cliff with special equipment to a parking area on Bliss Road. The rescue took two hours. The man was hospitalized. The man’s fall was reported about 8:40 p.m.
