AUSTIN, Minn. – Austin-based Hormel Foods announced immediate food for victims of Hurricane Ian in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. Donations will go to Convoy of Hope, a nonprofit outreach organization for disaster response. Hormel’s total contribution will be shaped as needs become clear, the company said.. The company noted that it gave $6.6 million in hunger relief in 2021 and $50 million over the past five years.
