WINONA, Minn. — The Winona hospital is feeling a personnel crunch with 40 to 45 staff people out daily for either COVID-19 exposure or infection, according to Rachelle Schultz, chief executive. Although the hospital has roughly 900 employees, it’s never had excess staff, she said. “You’re trying to manage every day to keep people healthy so they can help the other people who are not feeling good,” she said in a radio station KWNO interview.
