WINONA, Minn. – Patients seeking emergency room or urgent care at Winona Health now can choose to register on their own devices and leapfrog delays at the registration desk. Beth Poulin, of Winona Health, said that mobile check-in includes completing financial consent forms and health history questionnaires from home or from a car or sitting in the waiting room. Registering the old-fashion way remains possible, Poulin said. Later this spring, she said, patients also will be able to use self-check in for scheduled visits.
