LACROSSE, Wis. – Police say Austen Schalow’s online braggadocio about his basement marijuana farm did him in. He flashed images to a friend, who informed police,, Schalow akalso lso posted images on the site Snapshot, police said.. With a search warrant, police found $90,000 worth of cocaine in the basement – plus large grow tents, lights, fans, poles and fertilizer for marijuana production. Also in the house, police said, was a stun gun marked with the word “police.” Schalow, 27, was arraigned Tuesday on seven charges, including drug trafficking. Judge Gloria Doyle set bond at $75,000 and ordered Schalow not to use social media. Apparently, police said, Schalow would pick up marijuana in Colorado and drive back to LaCrosse. In his car was $150,000 worth wort of marijuana, police said.
