WINONA, Minn. — Police investigated a ransacked apartment upstairs from the Handy Corner bar on the East End. A back door to the bar itself had been forced open, police said. The owner, contacted out of town, told police that he had a good idea who the intruder was. The open back door was reported by a passerby about 6:30 a.m.
